We are an inclusive kura and work hard to ensure neuro-divergent students thrive within our environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient and empathetic leader to join our Te Aka team. Key aspects of the role include developing IEPs, delivering literacy, numeracy and life skills programmes, and following students' interests to create engaging and motivating programmes that are individualised for their needs. This includes programmes within WEGC classes, in the community and in the Te Aka base class. Te Aka class at WEGC is an exciting and vibrant place to be. You will be working with a team of experienced teachers, teacher aides, and specialists. Applicants with additional tertiary specialist qualifications can apply for this leadership position, leading a team of teacher aides and working within a transdisciplinary team of therapists.
