This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales experience and cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders.We are seeking a dynamic, proven, and results-driven Sales Manager with experience in the heavy-diesel industry to lead and inspire our sales team as we continue to expand and enhance our market position.
You will also need experience managing teams remotely.Responsibilities include:Training, mentoring, and leadership of approximately eight territory managersNurturing the relationships with our OEMs and other partnersDriving the sales team against sales disciplines, including CRM maintenance and complianceInspiring team members to provide the highest level of sales acumen, refining a high-performance sales cultureEnsuring all sales enquiries are managed promptly and efficientlyProvide support with industry eventsWork closely with customers and stakeholders to support overall product knowledgeResolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutionsCoordinate with the order desk on the preparation of sales forecasts, machine orders and logistics of machine arrivalsRequirement to travel extensively throughout New Zealand regularlyWe are ideally looking for:An individual with proven progressive sales experience in heavy-diesel equipment with a competitive, flexible and resilient nature to drive successAn individual that has experience with Salesforce or equivalent and understands the importance of the role it plays within the businessAn individual with a working knowledge of capital equipment and previous experience in a capital equipment sales role is required.
