This role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise while collaborating on major projects across Australia and New Zealand.As our new Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure, helping to design and deliver major projects with a focus on carbon neutrality and long-term resilience.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the team to define project scope, prepare deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.Deliver cost-effective designs that align with industry, company, and client standards.Generate design criteria, reports, design verifications, and clearance tables using PLS-CADD.Build and refine pole and tower models for PLS-CADD designs.Develop construction assembly drawings, select materials, and create structure loading packages for vendor submissions.Participate in internal and external meetings to support project processes and decision-making.Aurecon's Energy & Industrial team in Aotearoa is dedicated to shaping a sustainable and resilient future by delivering innovative solutions across the energy and industrial sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience designing and engineering transmission lines, ideally from an engineering consultancy environment.Alongside this, you will have the following:A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fieldBe Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-TowerKnowledge and understanding of engineering standards that apply to transmission design such as ASNZS7000Able to perform transmission line engineering work independentlyWhat's in it for me?
