Tax work is challenging and intellectually stimulating and tax advice is most needed when businesses are doing new and exciting things like going offshore, r expanding or changing the way they run their business. That means you're involved at crucial times with clients, and being part of the Tax team, you could be involved in a range of activities ensuring our clients meet their tax obligations.
Your Day-to-Day | Nga mahi o ia ra:
- Apply knowledge of legislation, case law, and Inland Revenue rulings in tax-related work.
- Demonstrate familiarity with tax lodgement programmes and payment requirements.
- Understand financial statements and their relevance to the tax function.
- Use compliance procedures to identify tax planning issues effectively.
- Continuously adapt and learn to address knowledge gaps and keep up with business and economic environments.
- Deliver quality client service, assist with problem-solving, and identify value-added opportunities while maintaining confidentiality.

Are working towards a Degree majoring in Commerce, Accounting, Economics or Law, or another major, with preference to those with pre-requisites for a Chartered Accountancy qualification or Law Professional studies (preferred but not essential).
