This includes working directly and collaboratively with senior medical staff and participating in service improvement projects such as care pathways and treatment protocols.About YouIn addition to being a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate (or close to gaining this), success in this role will also include your:Commitment to the principles of research and evidence-based practiceYour communication skills combined with an empathetic natureAbility to work in a multidisciplinary team and inter-professional settingCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
