As the Moves Team Lead, you will lead a small team, handling a broad spectrum of responsibilities encompassing Facilities and IT for office relocations. Your central focus involves supervising the detailed processes of daily workstation relocations within an office environment. This role presents a multitude of tasks, showcasing the dynamic and varied nature of your responsibilities. Duties include: Outbound Leadership and Implementation: Assume the primary outbound leadership role for the Moves Team, guiding a small and dedicated team through relocation processes, leading the team during implementation, ensuring tasks are executed to the highest standards. Liaison with Moves Team Coordinator & Space Manager: Collaborate closely with the Moves Team Coordinator and Space Manager to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout relocation processes. Secure Packing and Loading: Skillfully pack down offices, including handling fragile and high-value items in a secure manner. Load and pack a variety of vehicles with precision, adhering to safety protocols and completing tasks in a secure, safe, and timely manner. Physical Tasks: Undertake the physical demands of lifting heavy office equipment and furniture, showcasing strength and dexterity. Effective Communication: Communicate proactively and effectively before, during, and after each relocation, ensuring a smooth and collaborative process. Completion of Workstations: Ensure that relocated workstations are fully completed, organized, and left in a tidy manner, aligning with Weta guidelines. Reporting: Provide comprehensive and timely reports on relocation activities, contributing to the overall understanding of project progress. Continuous Improvement: Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, consistently looking for ways to enhance and optimize relocation processes. These duties reflect a dynamic and multifaceted role, where your leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence are crucial to the success of our relocation projects. Minimum Requirements: Experience in Relocations/Logistics/Removals: Proven expertise in managing relocations, logistics, or removal processes, demonstrating a thorough understanding of industry nuances. Full NZ Drivers Licence: Possession of a valid Full New Zealand Driver's License, indicating the ability to operate vehicles as needed for relocation tasks. Worksafe Knowledge: Familiarity and knowledge of current WorkSafe expectations and guidelines, showcasing a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all relocation tasks. Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrated commitment to a strong work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Initiative and Leadership Skills: Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and exhibit leadership skills, especially in coordinating and leading a team during relocations. Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, recognizing the importance of positive interactions during relocations. Excellent Physical Ability: Robust physical ability to undertake loading, packing, and transportation tasks effectively. Team Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly in a team, fostering a collaborative environment for successful relocation projects. Light IT Skills: Basic IT skills and knowledge, including the ability to plug in machines and troubleshoot - contributing to overall relocation process efficiency. Nice to Have: Heavy Goods License: Additional qualification that enhances capabilities in handling heavy goods during relocations. First Aid Certificate: Certification in first aid, providing an added layer of safety preparedness.
