We work in partnership with people to make positive changes in their lives through learning new skills, having new experiences and developing supportive relationships with their whanau and community.We are looking for Support Workers who enjoy being active and are keen to engage in community activities.
You will be supporting people to pursue their interests and do the things that they enjoy, e.g., swimming, fishing, playing sports, and visiting whanau.Part of the role will involve managing risk and maintaining safety.
Dealing with challenging behaviour can be tough, but with the right approach, we can make a difference, promote positive behaviours, and create a supportive environment for people to thrive.Previous experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with life experience and the right attitude.
