THE OPPORTUNITYAn exciting opportunity has become available for an Estimator to join our enthusiastic team based in Cromwell.
Reporting to the Central Otago Manager, this key position will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and quotes for supply and install of our roofing, cladding and rainwater goods projects.
RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare accurate and timely cost estimates and quotes for our valued customersUtilise CAD software to accurately and efficiently take-off material quantities from architectural drawingsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, statutory bodies, architects, designers, builders, and property owners to ensure consistent, high-quality resultsCollaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as requiredStrict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOUIdeally hold a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (NDQS) or New Zealand Certificate in Quantity Surveying (relevant trade or tertiary qualifications may also be considered)Ideally proficient utilising estimating softwareConfident utilising multiple IT systems and softwareHave great attention to detail and a passion for qualityHave a hands-on approach and can-do attitudeWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace Whilst experience is great, it'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart REWARDS & BENEFITSFlexible Working Arrangements   |   Health & Wellbeing Initiatives   |   Career Development Opportunities   |   Paid Parental Leave   |   Employee Referral Incentive    |   Stratco Team Member Discount Card   |   Private Health Corporate Discount   |   Flu Vaccinations   |    Employee Assistance Programme OUR EVPAt Stratco, manufacturing is our foundation, but our people are our future.
