Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking a passionate and motivated kaimahi to be part of our community-based Health team - Te Ara Waiora, CHB.The RoleYou will provide educational support to whanau, helping them to achieve their goals through the delivery of programmes, referrals to services and guiding them to independence.
You will coordinate and facilitate various programs focused on healthy lifestyles, aligned with national health promotion initiatives.We seek a reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate kaimahi who shares our vision to enhance the wellbeing of whanau in the Central Hawkes Bay community.This is a full time permanent role, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm with the occasional weekend mahi supporting and promoting our services at local community events.What we are looking for:The ability to make connections and motivate whanauExperience in supporting individuals and whanauLocal community connectionsConfident, friendly, and effective communicatorEmpathy and rapport with diverse communitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and medical databases i.e IndiciNon-smoker and physically activeProficiency in Te Reo and understanding of tikangaA positive attitude, uses initiative, proactive and self-motivatedQualificationCertificate in Health Promotion or similar (desirable)What we offer:5 weeks Annual LeaveHealth InsuranceLife InsuranceBirthday LeaveWellness InitiativesIf you're ready to make a difference in Maori health, we want to hear from you.Please submit your cover letter, CV, and completed online TToH Application Form by Tuesday 22nd April 2025.Please note safety checks will be completed as part of the vetting process.
