We are happy to once again assist a key client in the Hawkes Bay with their search for their next Transportation Project Management Lead.
The Role:
As the Transportation Project Management Lead, you will oversee the transportation projects coming through the organisation.
This role can be inferred as being 'light' on projects, however, within this position, there is a high level of mentorship that is required, as you will be reviewing the work of juniors internally and externally.
You will be within a well-organised team with all the people to help your career develop to the next level.
This role is strongly office-based, so there are not a lot of site visits to be done, yet it comes with a 40-hour work week so you can have that work-life balance.
Other Duties Include: Develop relationships with key stakeholders.Drive continuous growth and development within your team.Provide Project management expertise.Strong financial management skills for overseeing project budgets.About You:
To be successful in this position you must understand Civil Engineering in New Zealand and be well experienced in Project Management.
Someone who can lead people and has the passion to deliver projects to the wider community will be highly regarded.
You will also need to have:
Experience working closely alongside or within a council environment.Strong communication skills when responding to all stakeholder engagement.Relevant bachelor-level degree in Engineering/Project Management or similar qualifications such as a Diploma in Civil Engineering and Project Management.Benefits and Culture:
