They are a globally competitive premium chain supplier and contract manufacturer, possessing over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and assembling machine-made and hand-made chains for leading retail, wholesale, and manufacturing customers.About the RoleThis is a very unique role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team, has a keen ability with numbers and accuracy, and who has excellent time management and big picture skills.The role functions between 7am and 3:30pmDispatching client orders of varying alloys and productsLead or participate in monthly stock takes and investigate variancesPreparing alloy recipes and performing QC checks on the melted product using the Opix systemEnsuring each interdependent department has the correct productsEnsuring all job cards have the appropriate lossesEnsuring stock levels do not exceed the budgetsOrdering base metal components used in the alloysEnsuring the fabrication staff has all the information required to complete the job cardCommunicating with the office staff (salespeople) regarding sales deliveries and management regarding stock levelsObtaining familiarity with sizes of plate and strip orders and being able to estimate the weight of these types of ordersWho you are:Preferably you will have experience in a similar role or an interest in precious metalsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong ability with numbers and accuracy, and processesStrong attention to detailAbility to work autonomously as well as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Suite and other inventory management softwareAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesHow to applyYou must have current New Zealand work rights.If this position sounds like you, please APPLY NOW or contact us on +64 9 975 6733 for a chat.
