Job Description ENGEO is looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Auckland team.
About this role: This position will involve project management and technical delivery of a wide range of geotechnical project types such as earthworks, foundation and retaining wall design, liquefaction analysis, assessment of compressible and collapsible soils, evaluating earthworks in sensitive volcanic soils.
Your work will encompass site characterisation, data analysis, modelling and interpretation, design and construction monitoring.
Our local clients cover a broad range of markets including buildings, infrastructure, water and land development.
This is an exciting position to join a progressive and highly professional specialist ground engineering team, which offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and elevate your career within a collaborative and vibrant team culture.
Experience and Skills About you: Our ideal candidate is someone who is hungry, humble and smart and; Has a BE (Civil), ME (Geotechnical).
Has at least 10 years of geotechnical consulting experience (ideally most of which in New Zealand).
Has gained, or has applied for CMEngNZ (CPEng).
Local experience in the Auckland region is preferred.
Has excellent project management and report writing skills.
Is passionate about ground engineering - in all its forms
Shows a positive 'can do' attitude.
Wants to grow their career, make a difference in the community and create an impact.
Understands and fosters client relationships and business development.
