Biddeford Middle School is seeking:ED TECHNICIAN III - ELL Support*Family-friendly Schedules ( Full-time and Part-time)*Rewarding and meaningful work*Supportive teamwork*Great benefits and Maine State retirementBrief Job Duties:Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the classroom.Participate in required workshops by request of Building Leader, Supervisor, or Director.Perform non-instructional, non-evaluating functions including suspension of students.Assist in preparation of instructional materials or provide classroom management functions during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, etc.Alert teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.Certification/License:Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of Education.Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education.Education:Appropriate for Ed Technician Certification Level III.Experience:Successful prior classroom experience or working with students with special needs for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.Equal Opportunity:The School Department is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
