Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all restaurant operations are run efficiently.
Key responsibilities will be:Assist in managing the daily operations and help deliver the best guest experience.Lead and mentor the Restaurant team alongside the Food & Beverage Manager and help shape a collaborative culture.Implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficient delivery of the highest standards of service.Assist in the management of the team when required, including rosters, daily briefings, and onboarding.Liaise with other departments in the hotel on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations.The successful candidate will have:A background in fine dining and wine service is essential.Previous senior level Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5-star properties.Strong beverage and wine knowledge.Ability to train a team of mixed skill levels.Impeccable personal grooming.Knowledge and experience with Hospitality Management systems.Strong and effective communication skills.Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Reliable, honest, and engaged with excellent attention to detail.Core to the success of the individual in this role is that their personal values are aligned with those of Rosewood Hotels: Ownership, Passionate, Transparent, Innovative, and Collaborative.What we offer:At Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, we believe in fostering a culture of learning and development, providing you with the resources to thrive in your career.We offer competitive wages, delicious staff lunches, and access to our Staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our suppliers and partners.Due to our beautiful remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport and a valid working visa or work rights to apply.If you wish to apply for this role and have the attributes above, we'd love to hear from you.
