We have around 25,000 emergency department attendances every year. Our hospital is a 138 bed - Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) secondary hospital.Whanganui Hospital's emergency team is committed to providing patients with the best possible personalised care available in a small hospital, with all the benefits of having state-of-the-art technology at its disposal.Working in a team of 8, you will work 21 clinical shifts over a 6 week roster. Shift times are 0730 to 1530, 1100 to 1900 and 1600 to 2400 + overnight call.
