About the RoleAs an HR Business Partner, you will hold a portfolio within the Hospital and Specialist Services directorate our (our clinical and clinical support staff) where you will play a key role in developing our workforce, people and culture in line with Health New Zealand's goal of achieving the health targets.If you enjoy variety in your work, and relish complexity in spades, this role will not disappoint.

About the TeamThe team consists of passionate Human Resources Business Partners who work alongside specific services and directorates and also hold specific portfolios of interest.
We are a dedicated team or HR professionals who come from a wide variety of disciplines which we value in leveraging each other's strengths.
The team also consists of a Team Administrator, L&D Facilitator and a Facilitation Coordinator who work closely with the HR Business Partners in driving culture change in line with the health targets.
About Hamilton Waikato Hospital is a major regional hospital in Hamilton and is a leading tertiary teaching hospital located in Hamilton, New Zealand, serving as the regional hub for the Midland area, which includes the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Tairawhiti, and Taranaki districts.
With around 722 inpatient beds, 22 operating theatres, and a dedicated outpatient clinic and procedure centre, Waikato Hospital provides comprehensive hospital services, including radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy.

* The ability to be flexible and fit into a high performing, constructive team and be able to function effectively as part of a district and national 'team of teams'.
That needs a person who can navigate, help others and seek input.
* You will need strong written and oral communication, including professional business writing.
* A Tertiary Diploma or Degree in management, human resources management, law or organisational development * 5+ years experience in providing HR partnering and advice to leaders on HR matters.
* 3-4 years experience in two or more of the specialist portfolio areas e.g.
Employment Relations, Organisational Development, Change Management.
