Fixed Term - Management AccountantWe are currently seeking a committed and results-driven individual for the role of Management Accountant to work in our small inclusive Finance team at our Great South Road Office, Greenlane, Auckland.
Reporting to the Pulp & Paper Financial Planning and Performance Manager, ideally the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and results focus to achieve set deadlines, week in week out. Excellent ability to communicate at all levels in an organisation is essential in this role. In addition, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure are the key personal attributes we are looking for.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Assist in delivering accurate and timely financial informationManage accounting tasks including the month end process, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and reportingTo perform other accounting tasks where requiredThis position requires the following qualifications and experience: A Bachelor / Diploma of Business Accounting, or1-2 years' experience working currently as an Accounting Technician or similarProficient in the use of Microsoft Word & ExcelExperience with ERP Accounting systems, such as SAP (desirable)Oji Fibre Solutions (OjiFS) is the largest integrated pulp, paper and fibre-based packaging manufacturer in New Zealand. We have an extensive team of people, who work together to produce quality kraft pulp, paper and fibre packaging products from renewable, sustainably harvested forestry and recycled wood fibre. We are proud to create value from natural resources and be a key contributor to the circular bioeconomy.
In accordance with Company policy, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, drug test, criminal history, right to work in New Zealand and credit check. Oji Fibre Solutions will meet these expenses.
