We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to work across our Community Services in Tinwald.What does a Support Worker do?As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Home management (housework)What's in it for you?Earn competitive pay rates between $23.38 up to $29.10 per hourEarn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health and WellbeingTravel allowance and work phoneEmployee Assistance program service anytime you need health and wellbeing supportThis is an opportunity to join New Zealand's largest community healthcare provider with the potential to gain experience in a variety of disciplines including aged care, disability, mental health and rehabilitation.
