This is a permanent full-time role working Tuesday to Saturday approximately 42.5 hours per week.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for:Reducing shrinkage by promoting profit protection/loss prevention throughout all areas of our store.Creating and maintaining a secure work environment for all people within and around our store by detecting and deterring thieves and fraudsters.Monitoring the shop floor for suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities.Ensuring customers leaving our Drive Thru exit have had their transactions processed accurately.Share and gather intel utilizing the community loss prevention platform.
Identify and collaborate with our store's network to prevent loss and harm.Promoting a culture of Safety and Wellbeing by training and coaching our team to be vigilant in the area of loss prevention and safety.Communicate effectively with team members, team leaders, external security providers, and managers in regard to security and safety measures.Collaborate with law enforcement where applicable in matters of crime reporting.We are seeking someone who ideally has relevant work experience in the security and/or loss prevention industry for a minimum of 1-2 years; however, any suitably experienced candidates will be considered.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:Good time management.Confidence to cope in tense and stressful situations.Great communication skills.Be fit and healthy.Cope under pressure, remain calm and not get flustered.Have a quick and alert mind – be resilient and resourceful.Maintain the highest integrity, honesty, and confidentiality at all times.Ensure our customers have a fantastic shopping experience with us.Demonstrate positive and professional behaviour at all times.We offer a great place to work and discount privileges.If this sounds like you please apply.
