Next door you'll find their sister venue, Plantation Café, The Orangery which is a unique and Instagram-worthy gift, perfume and homeware store and The Potting Shed, for all your indoor plant and garden fancies.Position OverviewWe are looking for a heartfelt and genuine Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee both Harry's and Plantation Café, ensuring a fabulous dining experience across both venues for all guests.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Managing reservations including booking deposits and confirmations and function enquiriesSupervising and working alongside the front of house team ensuring service levels are consistent and sales opportunities are maximisedOverseeing the setup of the venuesStock management including ordering and stock takingTraining and development of both new and existing staffThe successful candidate will be an operationally strong leader with a hands-on management style and a warm and welcoming personality.
You'll be passionate about not just customer service but also the Harry's brand and embracing a cohesive team culture.
It goes without saying that proven experience leading a team in a high-end venue is essentialAdditional InformationSome other important information:Salary is in the range of $80,000 AUDRelocation and accommodation to be discussed at interview stageYou must be either a NZ or Australian Citizen - no sponsorship is availableYour working week will generally be from Wednesday to Sunday, with evening shifts on both Friday and SaturdayCouples are welcome to apply, particularly if you're a hospitality/retail duoBowral is a small town with limited nightlife, so the role is best suited for someone who enjoys a laidback lifestyle in the country.This isn't an office-based role, while some admin is expected the majority of your time will be spent on the floor.If you think this sounds like a bit of you and you can see yourself relocating to the stunning Southern Highlands then I'd love to hear from you.
