You will be hands-on in crafting dynamic visual content that brings their brand stories to life across video, motion, and print design.What you will bring:You have 5–8+ years industry experience in a similar roleA relevant qualification in Graphic Design from a tertiary level institute or similarProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Figma), with a particular focus in After EffectsIllustration skills are an added advantageExperience in Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D design such as Cinema 4D are an added advantageSkills:Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, colour, and layoutStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisionsCreative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-manageAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and collaborativelyAn interest in the beauty space and an affinity for refined and elegant designRoles & Responsibilities:Design and ExecutionDevelop and execute compelling visual designs for a variety of platforms, including digital (social media (paid + organic), websites) and print (influencer boxes, marketing collateral and in-store displays)Lead the execution of video projects from concept through to final delivery, including storyboarding, animation, editing, and sound designDesign promotional materials and marketing collateral with a deep understanding of beauty trends and consumer preferencesCreate mood boards, style guides, and design concepts that align with the brand's vision and goals.
Craft comprehensive creative briefs for both in-house and external creative teamsBrand DevelopmentContinuously evolve the visual identity of the beauty brands, keeping it fresh and relevant in a competitive marketLead the creation of new design templates and guidelines to support brand consistency across all touchpointsStay updated on the latest design trends, particularly in the beauty industry, and incorporate them into design workExperiment with new design techniques, tools, and platforms to keep the brand visually ahead of the curveEnsure all design work meets brand standards.
Oversee the production process for printed materials, ensuring colour accuracy, print quality, and alignment with the design visionManage design-related budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraintsSource and negotiate with external suppliers (e.g.
printers, photographers) when necessaryCollaboration & LeadershipAct as a brand guardian, maintaining and evolving the brand identity across all visual communicationsProvide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment within the teamWork closely with marketing, product development and sales teams to ensure design work aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and business goalsCollaborate with copywriters, photographers, and external agenciesIf you would love to work for an exciting and progressive company, who work across multiple global brands, and have all the design skills required – apply now.
