About the role Due to an increase in work load Todd Engineering Ltd is seeking skilled Fitter/welders/boilermakers to join our team in Dunedin.
This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
What you'll be doing Fabricate, install, and repair a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks on mild/stainless steel and aluminium to a high standard.Read and interpreting technical drawings.Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and implement appropriate solutions.Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality.What we're looking for Relevant trade qualification as a Fitter/welder/boilermaker or have a minimum of 6 years experience.
Proficient in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What we offer Competitive salary with regular overtime.Opportunities for professional development and career advancementSupportive and collaborative work environmentComprehensive training.Advanced workshop technology including; CNC plate rolls, Waterjet cutter, 5 axis CNC lathe, CNC Trumpf press, full Machine shop; (if it makes the job easier we will buy it)Site install work across NZ and Australia if wanted.About us Todd Engineering Ltd is a leading provider of Meatworks equipment and solutions throughout NZ and Australia.
