Basic Information:Salary up to $6500 + VBMon - Fri (0900 - 1800)Career ProgressionJob Description:Assist the Team Lead in all aspects of product, process, and packaging development.Work closely with the research team, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to drive new product and packaging innovations for international markets.
This includes conceptualization, prototyping, and ensuring smooth technology transfer for commercialization.The ideal candidate should be creative, forward-thinking, and skilled in conducting thorough research on culinary trends, consumer preferences, and market insights to identify new product opportunities.
They will develop innovative food concepts by experimenting with different ingredients, techniques, and equipment to create unique and flavorful offerings.
Responsibilities also include sourcing raw materials, preparing and presenting products accurately based on recipes and cooking instructions, and meticulously documenting formulations, recipes, and research findings.Support senior management in hosting high-profile lunches for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring an understanding of customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.Oversee the Development Kitchen, maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards, adhering to standard operating procedures, and complying with all relevant food safety regulations.Additional Information:Minimum 2 years of R&D Chef experience, preferably collaborating with Food Scientists/Technologists.Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.Understanding of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.Proven track record in product innovation and commercialization.Versatility in various cuisines would be an added advantage.
