The hospital consists of ten digital operating theatres and features robotic technology with a highly experienced robotic team, advanced digital scanning technologies, and consulting facilities onsite.The hospital provides a first-class preadmission service, admissions services, day surgery, three inpatient wards including a high dependency area.The hospital offers a wide range of elective surgical services including Orthopaedic, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, oral and Facial Maxillary, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Plastic & Reconstructive, Bariatric, General, and Endoscopic surgery. The hospital employs over 350 highly skilled and trained staff to ensure patients receive high quality care.The Supply Chain Coordinator role provides a link between supply chain and the wider hospital, focusing on operating theatres to ensure stock levels in the theatre complex are maintained and orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will assist with receipting, processing, and delivery of pharmaceutical and medical supplies in the theatre complex and to other storage areas.This is a hands-on, full-time role requiring effective communication skills and a positive attitude, working with a great team Our focus is on continuous improvement across the business and Supply Chain.Responsibilities and Requirements:Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supply chain/inventory management roleProficient in MS Office and experience with ERPDetail oriented with a high level of accuracySelf-motivated, dependable, and well organisedDemonstrated experience of building strong relationships and customer service with both internal and external partiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalBackground in healthcare would be an advantageKo wai matou | Our OrganisationSouthern Cross Healthcare is driven by a clear purpose to advance the provision of quality healthcare in Aotearoa New Zealand.
