Senior Electrician (4+ years experience)Arnold Jensen Electrical is Christchurch's and Canterbury's trusted name in electrical contracting having been in business since the early 1960s. Our customers range from residential home owners to large scale commercial contractors across New Zealand.We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Electrician to join the team to run small to medium sized projects, work hands on with the team and attend to office-based administration duties as required.To be successful in this role, you would need:4+ years post registration experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA solid understanding of the electrical industryThe ability to work hands on with the teamConfidence with MS Word & Excel to attend to administration related tasksConfidence with pricing small to medium sized worksExperience working in a team environment with people to achieve goalsTo be honest, punctual and hard workingAn ability to work unsupervised and make decisions on your ownNZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency (and currently residing in NZ)Current practicing licenceKey responsibilitiesLiaising directly with our clients and their representativesFollowing a set of plans to install electrical drawingsHelp train and supervise ApprenticesWorking closely with management and reporting job progress back to themEnsuring jobs are completed within allocated hours and to the highest standardsPlease only apply if you have NZ work rights and are currently residing in New Zealand.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate, full uniform and company vehicle.
