Join us on our mission
Enphase is seeking a highly effective and driven Hardware Engineer to join our high performing Research and Development Centre located in Middleton, Christchurch.
You will be working in a team of engineers who are tasked to design, enhance and test the future generations of our power converter and energy storage product range.
Role/Duties: Work on new microinverter and other product developments and variants through the product lifecycle.
Work with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, test automation, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and procurement.
Specify, design, verify and debug circuits and firmware for our products.
Assist product compliance engineers to achieve global certifications for our products.
Create test plans and generate test reports.
Qualification and Previous Experience: Bachelor, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2+ years' experience in industry.
Experience in designing and testing power, analogue or digital electronics.
Real world experience in developing electronic products from the concept stage to market launch.
Knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout and simulation tools.
Practical experience in testing and debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.
