ROLE SUMMARY:ACG Sunderland is a leading co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Henderson, West Auckland providing world class education to students from year 0-13. Our secondary campus is tailored to provide an excellent learning environment for students, delivering both Cambridge and NZ Curriculums.
ACG Sunderland are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full time upper primary teacher to join our incredible team. We require an experienced junior classroom teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student's individual needs. The successful applicant will have strength in teaching numeracy and literacy, be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.
The position will commence in term 1 2025. Please state curriculum areas of strength and a clear list of your experiences across different year levels. Address your application letter to The Principal, Mr Nathan Villars.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach upper primary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.Participate in wider school activities.Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).Experience in teaching primary curriculum to a high standard.Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.SAFEGUARDING STATEMENTInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
