Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are seeking aProduction Clerkto support our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC).Reporting to the Scheduler, you will support the Joint Logistics Unit Victoria (JLU-V) to ensure effective, efficient work order management practices and process are implemented in support of Defence maintenance activities.This is a full time permanent role based atBandiana, in Albury/Wodongawith Midday finishes on Fridays.What you'll be doing:Undertaking administrative, and non-technical support to tradespersons.Assisting with the ordering and hastening of repair parts.Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives.Using other Commonwealth managed systems as specified by the Commonwealth for specific tasks such as work order time entries, ordering and receipting repair parts, work order progressing & closureAssisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.Assisting with the administration of the Supply Customer Account/s.Conducting office administration.Liaising with internal and external equipment owners for the calling in and calling out of jobsAbout you:Demonstrated experience in administration functions.Competent in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point.Experienced in using data bases.Experienced in a workshop environment highly desirableCompetent in accurate ordering, receipting and distribution of spare partsCompetent in the reading and interpretation of ordersExceptional attention to detailWhy work with Ventia:Ventia is enriched by the diverse experiences, talents and cultures that our people bring to the organisation, while celebrating and respecting the communities we operate in.
