We are a centre of expertise for day-stay orthopaedic procedures with some plastic and general surgery procedures also performed here, backed up by friendly, professional staff who embrace our values of Teamwork, Respect, Professionalism and Communication.With our third theatre now being well utilised, we are currently looking to expand our team of experienced Anaesthetic Assistants to ensure our hospital provides timely, high quality patient focused care. Both full-time and part-time positions will be considered.What we're searching for:NZ Registered Anaesthetic Technician, or NZ Registered Nurse Assistant to the Anaesthetist with recent orthopaedic experienceAt least 1 year Anaesthetic Technician / RN AA experience (preferably a minimum of 2 years)If you possess RNAA or Anaesthetic Technician extended scope, you will get the opportunity to scrub, assist and circulateA passion for perioperative careNZRC CORE AdvancedExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA team player who is willing to support other roles in the team as requiredAbility to adapt to the changing needs of patients and the departmentsAble to work flexible, rostered shiftsIf you are passionate about quality patient care, proactive, energetic and keen to be part of an exciting new team, we look forward to hearing from you.Make the change you have always been looking for and apply now
