If your values align with ours then you should definitely read onA bit about the role…In this role not only will you need to have strong personal values which align with ours, you will need a work ethic that is second to none as this will be the true key to your success at our Building Materials Distribution Centre.In this role you will be responsible for:Assigning work to the team daily; supervising the workflow, staffing levels and day to day operational requirements.Ensuring efficiency within the Dispatch processes.Supporting Management Teams to ensure department goals are met.Ensuring all stock movement through Dispatch is processed accurately.Supporting the DC Operations Manager with staff supervision responsibilities, including recruitment, coaching, training and performance management.The successful applicant will have leadership/supervisory experience with the ability to energise the team to excel and give their best.In addition, we are ideally seeking:Experience working in a supervisory/leadership role, preferably within the warehousing environment with the ability to supervise, coach and build trust within a team.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.Knowledge of route planning software and tools to optimise delivery routes, reduce mileage, and improve fuel efficiency, such as GPS and route optimization software would be ideal.Good physical fitness to unload, lift, carry and move items.Valid Driver Licence, (F) Forklift endorsements preferred but not required.Knowledge of relevant legislative governances i.e., Health and Safety act etc and act in accordance with them.Understanding of health, safety, and wellness, along with relevant practices within operations and how to keep our team mentally and physically safe, along with our customers.IT competency.This role is a full-time position, Monday – Friday and will be rostered between the hours of 6:00am – 5:00pm.If you are looking for a career move or the next step or want to try something new that gives you the work/life balance and think you fit our 'One Team' culture, then we want to hear from youMitre 10 MEGA is an alcohol and drug free workplace and successful applicants will be required to successfully undergo pre-employment testing.If after reading this, you feel you have the values and attributes that we are looking for, you feel a career with the Nees Group would be a good fit for you and would enjoy being able take advantage of our great staff buying privileges then please click apply
