Vetlife Motueka offers a full range of veterinary services to the surrounding community for both production and companion animals. The team of vets and nurses are frequently involved in a variety of surgeries, and they are looking for a motivated senior nurse to join their team who enjoys a fast pace and can operate confidently within a professional environment.The ideal candidate will have diploma or degree level vet nursing qualifications, the hands-on experience to deliver high-quality nursing care, and the ability to take on a senior role within the nursing team.About the role:Surgical nursing including hospital prep/care, anaesthetics, animal handling, and clean-up dutiesWellness programmesThis position is full-time and will be included in the on-call and weekend roster in Richmond.Skills / Experience / Attributes:Vet nurse qualification and at least 2 years experience as a senior vet nurseOrganised, energetic, and methodicalConfidence to communicate effectively with our valued client baseEagerness to learn and ability to adapt to changing priorities calmly and efficientlyAbility to take a senior role in the nursing teamFriendly personality and enjoy being part of a teamOpportunities for ongoing career development through Vetlife training platform and workshopsVaried work within a supportive teamTo apply:If this sounds like the challenge for you, please apply via SEEK, including your resume and a covering letter outlining why this is the position for you.
