The wage bracket for this position is between $26 - $32.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours a week. Duties include, but are not limited to:Menu execution.Being responsible for your section.Ensuring mise en place list is completed with relevant notes for handover to the next chef.Assisting with training of Chef de Parties, commis chefs and demi chefs.Inventory and ingredient cost management.Maintaining hygiene and health and safety practices.Promoting good work ethics and values.Keeping your work section clean and tidy.Ensuring complete ordering for your section.Ability to work in a team.Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.Ability to handle pressure and high-stress situations.Maintaining compliance standards, including taking temperature checks.Successful Kitchen Porter applicants will have experience in a similar position. The pay rate for the position will be assessed on the experience of each applicant. The wage bracket for this position is between $23.85 - $25.50 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours a week. Duties include, but are not limited to:Following the guidance of the Head Chef and/or Sous chef(s) and communicating any concerns, questions, or uncertainty in a timely mannerEnsuring all equipment, crockery, and cutlery are cleaned and sanitizedAny cracked or broken items are reported and disposed of safelyEnsuring extra duties allocated are achieved in a timely manner and are observed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef(s)Ensuring the external rubbish collection area is kept clean and sanitized on a daily basisMaintaining the Food Control Plan Cleaning and Maintenance Schedules as per cycles stated on the planEnsuring all relevant waste is disposed of according to our Recycling PlanChecking all supplies received for correct delivery temperatures, packing slips correspond with the order receivedSuccessful Cellar Door Assistant applicants will have experience in a similar position. The pay rate for the position will be assessed on the experience and qualification of each applicant. The wage bracket for this position is between $26.00 - $29.00 per hour. Duties include, but are not limited to:Setup and closedown of the tasting roomConducting tastings at the bench or seated at tablePoint of sale and till operationsRestocking the cellar door as required.Assisting customers with enquiriesUpselling and cross-selling other areas of the businessConduct tours and private tastings as required.Work towards personal sales targets and group sales targets.Successful Assistant Brewer applicants will have at least one years' experience in a similar role. The pay rate for the position will be assessed on the experience and qualifications of each applicant. The wage bracket for this position is between $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours a week. Duties include, but are not limited to:The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of our brewing process as well as take the lead in our front of house in our Alibi Brewer's Lounge.Supporting the Head Brewer in all brewing related requirements, including keg washing, milling, brewing, quality testing and canning.Supporting the Head Brewer with compliance with regulations, and health & safety.Delivering beer for local orders on the island.Frequent heavy, manual lifting required.Supporting the Events Team with movement of furniture and fittings for weddings and events.Must hold a manual driving licence and be willing to obtain a forklift licence.Duty Manager licence preferred, but not essential.
