Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the Role:As a Nurse Practitioner in our Cardiology team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a range of cardiovascular conditions. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, offering you the opportunity to:Perform advanced assessments, diagnosis, and management of cardiac patients, including complex cases.Collaborate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans.Provide patient and whanau education, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered in managing their health.Lead initiatives to improve care pathways and patient outcomes within the cardiology service.Mentor and support nursing and clinical staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.Participate in research, quality improvement projects, and service development to advance cardiology care.This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of cardiovascular medicine while contributing to the professional growth of the team and the wider community.About the Team/Service/ Location:Our Cardiology team at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care to our community.
