You will gain hands-on experience and be exposed to prestigious employers such as Ventia and Auckland Council.This is an excellent opportunity for you to further develop your knowledge and competencies in the Electrical industry.ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be reporting to the Multi Trade Team Manager, and you will be responsible for servicing reactive and planned maintenance to the allocated buildings, equipment, and offices in Auckland.
Our depot is based in the CBD, and primarily you will be assigned in the Auckland Central, providing reactive maintenance to assets in this area.
Your workday will start on your first job and finish on your last job.This is an exciting role that offers lots of variety as we work across a diverse portfolio – from high-rise buildings, corporate offices, community centres, libraries, administration buildings, swimming pools, etc.
The normal hours of work are 7.30am to 4pm.
There is a degree of flexibility depending on operational demands.
You will mostly be working independently but may occasionally be assigned to two-person jobs.ABOUT YOUYou are a qualified and registered Electrician in New Zealand and value the safety of yourself and others above all else.
Your strong background and knowledge, customer service, and overall efficiency will ensure your success in this role.To be successful in this role, you will have:Relevant electrical experience in a commercial/industrial environmentPrevious experience working in building maintenance with large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedulesSite Safe Passport or equivalent, preferred but not essentialAbility to work an on-call roster as requiredA current full class 1 NZ drivers' license (manual driver's licence advantageous)APPLY NOWClick on the APPLY NOW button found on this page.
