This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration for this role is up to $150,906 p.a.
(including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunityWith at least 3 years' experience, we are looking for an intermediate to senior level modeller to be involved in network planning and providing technical direction and expertise across the organisation in relation to the development of strategic and operational water supply models.
You will:
Contribute to high-profile water supply projects delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that benefit both the communities and the environment.Develop, calibrate, maintain and operate water supply hydraulic models.Support the growth agenda with respect to water infrastructure, planning and network performance.Be part of the development of operations and capital expenditure proposals.Help lead, inspire, develop and mentor less experienced colleagues.About youTo be successful in this role you will bring:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as engineering or science).Experience in drinking water hydraulic modelling, ideally using InfoWorks WS Pro or WaterGEMS.A background in drinking water network planning and water infrastructure solutions.Exposure to assessing the hydraulic impacts of land development proposals.Expertise in either GIS, ArcGIS or QGIS.BenefitsAt Wellington Water, our purpose extends beyond delivering great water services for the region; we foster a thriving community, support a diverse workforce, and offer supportive development opportunities.
