We're looking for a Team Member to join our ActivZone Indoor Sports Arena and Glenfield Pools and Leisure Centre.
As a Team Member in our facilities, you will be responsible for Learn to Swim, Customer Service, and recreation assistant duties.
These include, but are not limited to:
Teaching people the basic principles of how to swim (we'll teach you how to do this
)Delivering exceptional customer service to our customers and visitors during busy public sessionsAssisting skate session operation including serving food and supporting our CafeHelping centre management with administration and operational duties, including bookingsSupporting centre activities including sporting leagues and daily timetabled programmesThis is a permanent part-time 14-hours position.
Our centre opens 7 days a week.

You will be a great swimmer and instructor, have a love of water, exceptional customer service skills, and be able to communicate well with members of the public.
Previous experience working with children would be beneficial.
If you have a recognised swim teacher qualification or previous experience as a Swimming Instructor, that would be fantastic.
However, we will provide full, comprehensive training that you need to excel in the job.
If you do not have a recognised swim teacher qualification, AUSTSWIM, or a first-aid certificate, you will be required to attend the following training dates:
14th - 24th April 2025Our successful candidate will be comfortable in the water and be able to:
Swim 20 metres freestyleTread water for 3 minutesIn addition to your swimming skills, we're looking for individuals with proven administration and communication skills, a track record of providing outstanding customer service, and excellent maturity and reliability.
As you'll be working on a variable roster, access to a reliable method of transport is essential.

This role is classified as a Children's Worker role under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
