About the role Join the team at Chester Hospitality in Newmarket Auckland as a full-time Venue Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new hospitality venue, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and driving the overall success of the business. What you'll be doing Manage and oversee all aspects of venue operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and compliance Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals Implement effective strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction Ensure the venue meets all health, safety and licensing requirements Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders Identify and capitalise on opportunities to drive business growth and innovation Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Chester Hospitality portfolio What we're looking for Significant experience (5+ years) in a management role within the hospitality industry Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams Excellent operational, financial, and people management skills Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and implement growth strategies In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality sector Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Passion for creating memorable experiences and a commitment to excellence What we offer At Chester Hospitality, we believe in fostering a vibrant, inclusive and supportive work environment.
