We have a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Community Allied Health team based in Tauranga.
This is a fixed term position covering parental leave.
Hours to be worked can be from 48 to 72 hours per fortnight.

About the Team/Service/ Location The Community Allied Health Team is an interdisciplinary and innovative team that puts the community at the centre of everything it does.
We currently deliver Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Language Therapy and Dietician services across the Western Bay to clients with a wide range of conditions.
There will be opportunity for the successful candidate to work on innovative projects and to develop further quality improvement initiatives or even research.
About you * Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy * Current Annual Practising Certificate * Clean full NZ Driver's licence * Health sector experience * Strong communication skills both verbal and written * Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
* Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
