About the Role We have multiple Graduate Engineer opportunities available under different businesses within Honeywell Honeywell Building Solutions: You will work with critical building management systems, HVAC systems, networking, and security systems often on site, learning to make decisions and run customer sites with less hands-on guidance.
This may include installing and maintaining building automation, security, life safety and energy management systems.
You will become a trusted service advisor to our variety of customers.
You'll enjoy a wide range of experiences across commercial and government buildings, health care facilities, airports and correction facilities Key Responsibilities: Service maintenance and repair of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Security, and Third-Party Systems Project management of service projects and small works including high level of customer management and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
Technical consulting, design and implementation support to the service business and customers.
Working with customers to understand process and design needs Management of suppliers and sub-contractors Ensuring adequate records are generated and maintained, documenting the engineering process undertaken and following engineering procedures Honeywell Process Solutions: Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) provide automation and control solutions that help industrial customers run their operations safely, reliably, efficiently and sustainably through innovative technologies, services and domain expertise.
This role also involves execution of fixed scopes of work on projects and development of further engineering skills.
This will involve implementing defined parts of standard engineering solutions under the close supervision of other project engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions.
You will support the service and install across a large variety of industrial solutions – including provision of site support service, sales and internal technical communication, and responsibility for small project implementation.
The work is diverse and challenging.
Work involves Honeywell SCADA, PLCs and DCSs, along with advanced software applications Key Responsibilities: Entire lifecycle management of systems including planned maintenance, patching of systems for security improvements and projects Implementation of Control Systems projects using Honeywell and third-party tools and processes Project Management Familiarity with wide variety of industrial plants & applications as applicable to control systems Implementation of virtualised systems and network configuration Execution of test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems under supervision.
Preparation of documentation to appropriate standards and quality systems Actively participate in HSE processes, meet HSE metrics and follow all HSE procedures Reports process and technical problems and/or changes to project lead engineer or supervising engineer Comply with Honeywell engineering processes tools and methodologies Completion of the Task assigned within the Allocated time and Budget using the most efficient tools for the Job.
Key Experience & Capabilities: Relevant Undergraduate Degree – Engineer (Chemical, Automation, Instrument & Control, Oil &Gas/Petroleum/ Mining, Computer Sciences, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Data Sciences) completed in the 2 years preceding the start date for the Graduate role, February 2024.
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Think on your feet Customer-focused and problem-solving skills Curiosity Application Information: Applications will close by 16th April'23 The anticipated start date would be Feb 2024 Permanent Residency in Australia or New Zealand, or Citizenship is required.
