Cherry Partners LP require packhouse workers who will take responsibility for sorting, grading and packing cherry boxes for the local and export markets.
You'll be comfortable standing on your feet for periods of time, working in a cooler environment and have an eye for detail.We are looking for someone who:is able to work within a teamenjoys being flexible and adjusting to changeshas a strong attention to detail and believes in creating a quality productis able to follow instructions and be aware of safety requirementsexperience in a packhouse or similar environment is preferred but not essentialJob ResponsibilitiesSorting - visually inspecting cherries on conveyor belts to separate high-quality from blemished.Packing - assembling and packing cherries into boxes for the local and export markets.Labelling - accurately labelling packages to meet regulatory standards.Communicating - communicating with packing teams, supervisors and quality control to optimize fruit quality.
