This is a service where you can advance your career while making a real difference.You will have the opportunity to be involved in world-class clinical techniques such as SABR for lung and spine, VMAT, Deep Inhalation Breath Hold for breast patients, EEBH and more.
This department is also a specialist paediatric centre for the upper North Island region.We provide full orientation and ongoing support, delivered by our dedicated training team and experienced colleagues.

The service is supported by 20 Radiation Oncologists, along with Medical Physics and Nursing teams who work collaboratively to deliver outstanding care.You will be working with a range of advanced technology including:2 Varian TrueBeams with Hypersight and Catalyst2 Elekta Versa HD Linacs with Catalyst2 Varian ix series Linacs with OBI, Conebeam CT, VMAT/IMRT capabilityRayStation planning systemARIA and MOSAIQ patient management systemsSiemens Somatom Edge Plus with Sentinel motion management systemSiemens Somatom X.Cite with Sentinel and RGSC motion management systemsBrachytherapy and Superficial treatment unitsAbout YouWe are seeking radiation therapists with clinical experience who thrive in a busy but engaging environment and are committed to delivering the highest standards of care.You will bring:A recognised qualification in Radiation TherapyA commitment to clinical quality and patient-centred careWillingness to relocate or return to New Zealand and contribute to a growing teamWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
