The Asia-Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore employing nearly 2,500 team members. About the Role The operations supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day running of part (or all) of the facility, ensuring customer requirements are met, staff understand what is expected of them (including safety), and all compliance and regulations are met. Due to promotion at our Wiri facilities, Lineage is looking to recruit an experienced operations supervisor. The role requires a confident hands-on leader who can develop and motivate their team to deliver a high standard of service to our customers. You will be a strong communicator and be able to respond quickly to changing demands, enhancing and maintaining effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a leader of health and safety in our facility. We are looking for a minimum of 4 to 5 years' experience in an operations/warehousing role with leading a team. Experience in an export licensed/regulatory environment is an advantage. If you have the following attributes and experience, this could be the job for you: Lead and build on Lineage Logistics' health and safety culture Effective leadership, with a strong focus on staff Plan and direct work activities in a dynamic environment Proficient numeracy and analytical skills Ensure all organisational and operational procedures and policies are adhered to Ensure all inwards and outward/export processes meet regulatory and licence requirements Control inventory and have the ability to work a computer-based tracking system Have proficient verbal and written communication skills Hold a current Forklift Operators licence Excellent planner and problem solver This is a full-time role reporting to the operations controller.
