Add expected salary to your profile for insightsWELLINGTON LOCATION - relocation assistance availableSenior Network Controller – Ensuring Network Reliability and Safety 24/7We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Controller to manage the reliability and safety of our network assets around the clock. This key role ensures our network meets business, customer, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe environment for staff, contractors, and the public.Key Responsibilities:Oversee real-time asset performance, ensuring adherence to safety practices and operational procedures.Coordinate with field service contractors for planned and unplanned asset access.Minimize supply disruptions while ensuring a safe and secure network.Keep network connectivity and service maps updated.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, using expertise in SCADA, Load Management, and TCS.Qualifications & Skills:Electrical trade or technical background (preferably Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in Electrical or similar).Advanced SCADA knowledge and experience with operational systems, procedures, and safety standards.Strong PC skills and customer service focus, particularly under pressure.Experience:Minimum 5 years working with HV electrical networks (or similar critical infrastructure, such as rail or other network controller roles).Experience with SCADA, Outage Management Systems, and electrical sub-transmission/distribution networks.Proven ability to manage unplanned outages and restore supply efficiently.Strong analytical skills for process improvement and reporting.Additional Information:This role requires availability 24/7 on a rotating roster, including day and night shifts.
