The team is part of the National Payroll Service.Key ResponsibilitiesA demonstrated high level of understanding of Information Technology systems, practices, and procedures.Hands-on experience working with large-scale payroll and HR databases, including experience installing, testing, and releasing upgrades and generally maintaining the database, implementing developments/improvements.Experience with or understanding of data security systems and processes.Experience in extracting data and configuring report structures using reporting tools.Proven abilities/experience in systems analysis and design.
Strong proficiency of Excel (including pivot tables and formulas), SQL and/or other relevant data-extraction and data analysis and reporting tools.Highly advanced knowledge of database structure design.Exceptional analytical skills in working with large data sets.
Excellent numeracy and analytical skills are required.Experience working as an analyst or in a reporting role.
Proven experience in problem-solving.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Customer focus, team player, flexibility, good self-management, ability to deal with detail and see the big picture.
