Business Analyst

Business Analyst It is an exciting time of growth and implementation for Beca's Enterprise teams.

Joining this to support change, you'd be helping provide the tools and technology for the work of our people in solving real world, complex and unique problems across business lines, clients, countries and technology platforms.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This role will enable you to be part of a step change in our technology program at an enterprise level for Beca.
Within the team, you will initially support the delivery of critical enterprise system updates, helping to deliver one of the technology platforms that will enable Beca's second century of growth.
Your responsibilities will include eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements using a variety of techniques such as workshops, interviews, surveys, and desk-based research.
As the bridge between teams, you'll be working as part of a cross-functional team to understand business requirements, with the technical and analytical curiosity to probe and understand the 'so what' with the team.
With a best practice approach, you'll be defining functional and non-functional requirements, capturing decisions as they're made with our implementation partners, and working across the project to document end-to-end business processes.
Additionally, you will support testing and change management activities and develop or update business process definitions.
Strong problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.
The ability to multi-task, context switch, and effectively manage delivery priorities is crucial.
We are looking for someone with over 5 years of experience as a business analyst on complex projects, experience across different software development methodologies, and preferably, experience in developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
Your ability to lead the business analysis effort on assigned projects will be highly valued.
