This role is part of the inpatient Dietitian team and would see you working fixed term (maternity leave cover until May 2026), part-time (32 hours/week) Monday to Friday, with the option of roster weekends.
This is an opportunity to join our dynamic and supportive Renal team within the Nutrition and Dietetics Service based at Auckland City Hospital.
This role will see you working closely with the Renal Service providing nutrition care for patients with chronic kidney disease including pre-dialysis, dialysis, renal transplant and kidney stone prevention in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.The role is ideal for a dietitian with excellent communication, organisation skills and ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team.Proactively work with a complex caseload delivering high quality outcome focused innovative care, applying evidence-based practice, interventions and educationEnhance your skills and knowledge in the comprehensive management of a variety of patientsReceive support to lead clinical education and quality improvement initiativesWork in partnership with an individual and their whanau to provide client careOptimize patient experience by utilizing your excellent interpersonal communication skillsCollaborate with team members and other work groups to achieve our service objectivesAbout the Team/Service/ LocationOur team is made up of passionate and supportive dietitians who are dedicated to advocating for our patients and enhancing nutrition-related outcomes within our community.
We consist of 26.7 FTEs, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
