We know first aid training isn't always the most exciting way for people to spend their time, so we make a real effort to make the sessions interesting and engaging.It is paramount that our First Aid Instructors have the right positive attitude, passion, and interpersonal skills.This is a contract position to begin with permanent / full time opportunities as demand grows.To be successful in this role you will:Be passionate about educating and sharing your knowledgeHave proven skills and experience within the first aid / health sectorBe a highly motivated individual who will represent the company and brand to a very high standardBe able to self manage and show initiativeBe well presentedNaturally you will have strong communication and interpersonal skillsBe prepared to travel within the wider Auckland region (some national travel opportunities also on offer for the successful candidate)Have a full, clean NZ driver's licenceIdeally you will have the following qualifications:NZQA unit standard 4098NZQA unit standards 6400 / 6401 / 6402 or 26551 / 26552Current Workplace First Aid certificatePHEC Pre Hospital Emergency CareNZRC ECI2What we are offering:Competitive hourly $ rateAccess to company vehicleGenerous travel / per diem allowances for work outside of AucklandUniform, training, resources, equipment all supplied by Heart SaverWhat you can expect to see / experience as a member of the Heart Saver family:No bureaucracy here
We still operate with our 'start up' mentality; we all agree that we need to do better at documenting our processes and systems, but we have been so busy doing great things for our clients, that this continues to be a work in progress.High expectations – but this does not equate to a high degree of micromanagement.
