You will coordinate day-to-day processing of our palletised and parcel pickup and delivery (PUD) function to ensure that we deliver high quality solutions to our customers.
You will be customer-focused, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, and branch targets are achieved.Your strengths will lie within your planning and delivery skills.
You will be organised, provide attention to detail, be flexible and have the ability to change priorities at short notice.
The role will also require updating relevant IT systems, generating reports, and actioning or allocating work based upon the findings.
In addition, you will be responsible for:Resolving any internal & external customer issues and increase satisfaction levels.Afternoon dispatch and early shift dispatch cover.Engage in effective communication with customers.Manage fleet, drivers, and dispatching.Efficiently use and allocate asset loads.Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.Administration, monitoring, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.Assist with continuous improvement of KPI's.Oversee compliance & fleet presentation requirements.Back up Freight Operator.Minimum Requirements:Excellent communication and organisational skills.Knowledge of the Transport/Logistics industry.Minimum of 2 years' experience in Freight operations.Computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Intermediate).Clean Class 1 NZ Driver's License.Demonstrable geographical knowledge, specifically the South Island.Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Sustainability, and the Environment are part of our DNA so come support us on our journey.If you're interested in being a part of the team, please click on 'Apply'.
