Our engineering team members span design, analysis, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, assembly and integration, quality control, engineering documentation, and more.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:As a Software Engineer in Rocket Lab's Operations Software team you will be responsible for the development of the real-time data and commanding software services that ensure the successful launch and mission operations of Neutron, Electron and spacecraft. You will collaborate closely with the Operations, Flight Software, Analysis and Data teams to develop the real-time system that provides acquisition, distribution, and capture of telemetry data and commands.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar5+ years of experience within a related fieldGolang DevelopmentHigh-performance systems & scalabilityTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:Network Protocols (UDP / TCP / gRPC / CCSDS)Kubernetes, AWS and other cloud providersPython DevelopmentCI/CD systemsIf the above sounds like you, apply nowWHAT TO EXPECT:We're on a mission to unlock the potential of space to improve life on Earth, but that's not an easy task.
