This role involves supporting tutors with academic processes, evaluating course materials, ensuring compliance with NZQA requirements and moderation standards, and teaching on the faculty.We are looking for someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact on student's lives through education and training.Reporting to: Academic Quality ManagerKey Responsibilities:Coordinate hybrid delivery methods for NZQA qualification purposes.Ensure NZQA compliance and facilitate internal and external moderation.Evaluate and update course materials to meet industry standards as needed.Oversee the academic administration of Level 5 and Level 6 massage courses for two intakes annually.Provide academic and pastoral support to students for a positive experience and successful outcomes.Support tutors with academic processes to ensure smooth course delivery.Teach as needed to enhance the learning experience.Coordinate clinic activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with curriculum requirements.Perform other delegated tasks as required to enhance our collaborative and supportive educational environment.Strong working knowledge of student management systems and NZQA requirements.Proven experience or knowledge in business practices, massage theory, and practical techniques.Knowledge of Moodle (or similar) as a delivery platform for online learning.Massage qualifications at Level 6 or above preferred; industry experience also acceptable.Understanding of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi framework and commitment to supporting diversity.Familiarity with the New Zealand tertiary education sector.NZ Diploma in Adult Education L5 is preferred.Ability to teach across various subject areas within the programmes in hybrid delivery mode.Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Literate in computing and technology that supports a positive online teaching and learning environment.Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including students.Ability to maintain professional boundaries with staff, students, and other stakeholders.Ability to demonstrate and role-model professional educational standards for teaching faculty, NZCCM staff, and students.Trustworthy with the ability to maintain confidentiality.Self-starter, motivated to achieve the best outcomes for stakeholders, including students, fellow colleagues and the College.Strong time management and organisational skills.Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and embraces the diverse nature of Aotearoa New Zealand.If you are passionate about massage education and eager to contribute to a supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment, we would love to hear from youIf you would like to be part of our team, then apply today by sending your Cover Letter and CV to (email protected).
